You don't get anything like Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Apple Pages or Dropbox Paper (opens in new tab) unfortunately, but you do get some effective tools for controlling who has access to what in the HiDrive cloud locker. We like the look of the collaboration and user management features here too. If the worst happens to your computers, you've always got a backup. Syncing is just about instant too, so you know that as you make changes to your files, HiDrive will be backing them up to the cloud for sake-keeping.

If you want to run HiDrive backups directly from the desktop app or iOS and Android mobile devices, you must upgrade to the Pro version. You can run backups as often as every four hours, retain them for up to a year and restore selected backups as copies. HiDrive provides a simple backup service where you can create a schedule from the admin portal that secures all your team's cloud data. These initially appear in the user's personal cloud folder and can be moved to the public folder if required.
